During the Civil War that teared Nepal for 10 years, from 1996 to 2006, opposing the regular army to the Maoist revolutionists, Prakash and Kiran are two boys divided because of the membership into different castes, but their friendship and the age will keep them together. A white chicken, stolen in a cornfield, becomes their hope. Pakash thinks that if he breeds the chicken he can save up the money to allowe his sister Bijuli to study. But the chicken unexpectedly get lost and little owners ought to work hard to take it home.
