French producer Catherine Dussart will take part at Ischia Film Festival fourteenth edition.
[Ischia, 11 June 2016] There's always been a particular feeling between French cinema and Ischia Film Festival: after many important attendances like director Benoit Jacquot, that has recived the Ischia Film Festival Award in 2013, and French actor Jean Sorel, arrives, at the beautiful Aragonese Castle, French producer Catherine Dussart.

Catherine Dussart is a great professional, acclaimed French producer, coming from an artistic family: Catherine, in fact, is one of the most close associate of French director François Truffaut's daughter. She began with short films, then she dedicated to future films and documentaries for Cinema and Television: don't forget, Les Productions Dussart in 1992 and CDP in 1994. She is member of European Producers Club and consultant of Ateliers du Cinéma Européen (ACE); She's been in the Board of Diresctors of the Franco-Russian Film Academy. Her most recent works enclose: “The Missing Picture” by Rithy Panh, that won Certain Regard at Cannes Festival in 2013 and Prix Italia, and besides it has been nominee at the Oscars for best foreign language film; “Laici Graves” by Lebanese director Reine Mitri (DIFF Dubai); “9 dita” by F.J. Ossang, Price 2014 at Rome Eurimages winner; and “Country” by Rithy Panh (Fipa 2015). She's been Cinema Director in French-Russian Film Academy, since 2014. Currently Dusssart is a member of Committee on Film Funding organized by Centre National de la Cinématographie.
