XIV International Conference on Movie Tourism
"The development of Movie Tourism in Europe 14 years after its birth: analysis and perspectives"
XIV edition of the conference taking place in Ischia since 2003, year in which Michelangelo Messina invented the neologism “cineturismo". The conference hosts this year, among important international speakers, an authority of Movie Induced Tourism: Prof. Sue Beeton from Trobe University (Melbourne- Australia).
Already confirmed the participation of Adrian Wootton chief executive of the British Film Commission and Film London, Arie Bohrer Austrian Film Commissioner (Austria), Cornelia Hammelmann chief of DFFF (Germany), Carlos Rosado president of the Spain Film Commission (Spain), and others national experts including: Paride Leporace director of Basilicata Film Commission, Francesco di Cesare, president of Risposte Turismo, Maurizio Sciarra president of the Apulia Film Commission, Andrea Coluccia for Creative Europe MEDIA Desk Italy - Bari Office, Giulia Lavarone Phd University of Padua, author the book "Cinema, media and tourism. Experiences and theoretical perspectives of the film-induced tourism"; Anna Olivucci for the Marche Film Commission and Alessandro del Ninno of the law firm Tonucci & Partners.
