The hall of the monastery

Posted in The festival - Esclusive festival locations

The hall of the monastery is one of the many rooms of the convent of the Poor Clares; probably was used as a place of refreshment of the nuns. The ceiling is a barrel vault. Large windows overlook the 'entrance to the Convent, in fact, is the first room located after the great main entrance to the monastery. From these windows you can admire the view of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the opposite hill and the highest peak of the island: Mount Epomeo. Today the hall of the Monastery is used during the festival for exhibitions, shows and workshops.
