Meetings with the protagonists of the eighth edition

[Ischia, July 11, 2010] During the 8th edition of the Festival dedicated to the locations, the meetings LET’S TALK ABOUT CINEMA”, organized at Cathedral of the Assumption, have represented one of the most intense and inspiring moments of the event. Directors, actors, producers and other professionals of film-making, describe their work and emotions directly to the audience, allowing the public to meet and appreciate, closely, the faces and characters usually seen only on the big screen or known through the pages of a newspaper.

Introduced by the artistic director Michelangelo Messina and led by the journalists Federico Pontiggia  and Maria Stella Taccone, the meetings LET’S TALK ABOUT CINEMA of the 8th edition of the Ischia Film Festival have involved different protagonists, among which Sabrina Impacciatore (who presented at the Festival “18 years after” by Edward Leo), the director Alessandro D'Alatri (in the “Euromediterranean” section, with “Sul mare” - “On the sea”, entirely filmed in Ventotene), Edoardo Winspeare and Pippo Mezzapesa (both with works filmed in “their” Salento area) and Lunetta Savino, who mainly spoke about her experience in the last film by Ferzan Ozpetek “Mine vaganti” (“Loose Cannon”) and about TV and theatrical projects awaiting her next autumn.
