The last two works presented
The 10th edition of Ischia Film Festival , after the section dedicated to “Works in contest” and “Scenes”, presents “Close up” and “Social locations” sections.
The section “Close up”, with eleven international projects non-competitive, and with important works and performers, presents locations from Turkey to United Kingdom, from Italy to Greece and from Morocco to the opposite of Antarctica. Among these famous locations we can remind some names: Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt, Kristin Scott Thomas, Diego Abatantuono, Raoul Bova, Sean Penn and others.
In regard of the meetings for “Parliamo di cinema”, at Cattedrale dell’Assunta, we would remind the screening of the film “Il cuore grande delle ragazze” of the director Pupi Avati, with the presentation of Andrea Roncato and Stefania Barca. Other important event is the appointment with Francesco Patierno, for his film “Cose dell’altro mondo”.
Actuality, humour, report and environment, are just a part of themes that the public can find in this section. The works are: Almanya, Cose dell’altro Mondo, Il Cuore Grande delle Ragazze, Il pescatore di sogni, Immaturi il Viaggio, La sorgente dell’amore, Napoli 24, Paradiso Amaro, Qualcosa di Straordinario, This must be the place and Tre uomini e una pecora.
“Social locations” is a new entry for the Festival and is concentrated on location’s concept, particularly in reference to the latest economic and political problems, often analyzed in recent film-making.In the section “Social Locations”, a special attention will be dedicated to the “off limits locations”, that represent an important opportunity for Italian Film Commission and their productions in our country.
Mattia Sbraglia, from the cast of “Diaz”, directed by Daniele Vicari, will be present in the evening projection and he will introduce his work, inspired to Genova’s facts of 2001.The director Fabrizio Cattani and the actress Chiara Martegiani e Marina Pennafina, will be present for the screening of the film “Maternity Blues”.
The last two works of the sections are the documentary “The Summit”, a work of the journalists Franco Fracassi e Massimo Lauria about G8, and “L’industriale”, directed by Giuliano Montaldo, and focused on Nicola’s life, an industrial whit a factory in failure.
